Every smile has a story. Ours began on April 5th, 2025, when two MDS dentists — Dr. Liza Baruah and Dr. Sunayana Dutta — turned a shared dream into a living, breathing dental space in the heart of Hengrabari, Guwahati.
A space not just built with bricks and walls — but with vision, sweat, and soul.

The name “Groove Dental” wasn’t just a name. It reflected our philosophy — that dentistry should flow smoothly, fearlessly, and comfortably — like a rhythm people can trust.

We started from scratch — sourcing every inch of equipment ourselves.

From dental chairs and RVG machines to autoclaves, ultrasonic scalers, air compressors, micromotors, and endomotors, we handpicked everything to meet the highest standards of hygiene and care.

1st Patient

The very first person to sit in our chair was someone who’s always stood behind us — our mother.

Treating her wasn’t just symbolic, it was emotional.

She trusted us with her smile, just like she’s trusted us with everything else in life. That moment grounded our purpose: to treat every patient like family.

1st Night Emergency Patient

We’ll never forget the night our first emergency patient walked in — nervous, in pain, and unsure.

We treated them late into the evening, not just as a case, but as a symbol.

It reminded us that Groove was never just about timing or schedules — it was about showing up when it matters most.

1st Dental Camp for Kids in Guwahati.

Within days of opening our doors, we held our first dental awareness camp at Shankardev Vidya Niketan, Hengrabari, meeting curious children and answering tiny questions about brushing and tooth fairies.

Their smiles filled our hearts and reinforced our purpose.

Where are we headed next?

Today, Groove Dental is more than a clinic. It’s a movement toward ethical, accessible, and specialist-led dental care in Assam. We’re seeing more patients walk in with trust, more smiles walk out with relief, and more schools, hospitals, and communities open their doors to us.

We’ve only just begun.
